Become an Inclusion Mentor

If you’re a qualified teacher, experienced TA, youth worker, or family support worker - or simply someone passionate about helping young people reach their potential we’d love to hear from you.

At Bright Outcomes, you’ll find flexible, family-friendly working hours, supportive leadership, and the chance to make a real difference every day.

About the Role

We believe every young person deserves the chance to shine to feel seen, supported, and empowered to achieve their potential.

Our Inclusion Mentors work one-to-one with young people who may find school or college challenging due to special educational needs, mental health difficulties, or social and emotional barriers. You’d help them re-engage with education, meet the outcomes in their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and gain real qualifications that open doors to brighter futures.

Your role would support both educational progress and social and emotional development, recognising that confidence, wellbeing, and learning all go hand in hand.

  • Deliver individualised education sessions that help young people progress academically and work towards qualifications.
  • Build trusting relationships that motivate learners and nurture self-belief.
  • Use creativity to make learning engaging and relevant - whether that’s through art, media, or practical projects.
  • Celebrate progress, both big and small.
  • Track and record each young person’s progress using Bright Outcomes’ online platforms, ensuring clear evidence of achievement and growth, and communicate regularly with the team to provide joined-up, person-centred support.
